“The Let’s Bloom Together program has been a wonderful way for our sons, Noah and Griffin, to begin to both understand and appreciate the importance of plants in relation to the environment and has also helped them to develop a strong passion for gardening. Both our boys (ages 5 and 4) really look forward to their weekly classes with Marigold Mike and it’s been so great to see them develop a desire to take their newly-acquired gardening skills home with them. They now have a section of the back yard dedicated as “their” garden, an area they have lovingly and carefully tended to for months. It’s a delight to see the pride on their faces when something they’ve planted blooms or begins to sprout up from the ground – and the fact that my husband and I have found something over which we can bond with our children for years to come is a great source of joy for us!”
"Our daughter participated in the Let's Bloom Together 8 week program at Cradles to Crayons. We found the program to be a great combination of fun and education for our four year old. We loved the take home projects and fact that 'Marigold Mike' provided a handout each week of what was covered in the classes. We used the handouts often as conversation starters during dinner and were amazed at how much our child remembered! Great job Marigold Mike!"

Hello! My son Shane Sabol goes to NVPNS in New Vernon, NJ and I just want to send you a quick note about how much Shane really talks about Marigold Mike and all he is learning from him. The really terrific informative paperwork you give to the children to send home for their parents to read with the completed projects adds another nice touch and includes the parents in the learning process as well. I think everything you are doing for the children is wonderful and I feel he is retaining so much! Thanks for the great education and making it fun!!!!!
You guys are terrific~ Karen Sabol
My son, Owen, participates in the weekly gardening classes at the Goddard School and LOVES it. I cannot tell you how excited he is every Wednesday to tell me what he learned in class that week. He has really learned an appreciation for nature and nurturing by growing his own plants and flowers - at school and home. If we are at the park or admiring someone's garden on one of our walks, he always chimes in telling me what kind of flowers he sees and the importance of the sun, soil and water. He has also learned the importance of recycling for our environment and loves to remind me of what should be put into the recycling can. Marigold Mike's enthusiasm for teaching what he loves really inspires my son and the excitement shows. Thanks Marigold Mike - keep up the good work!
Dear Marigold Mike:
Just wanted to send you a note to let you know how much my 4 year old daughter Jessica has enjoyed the gardening classes she attended at "The Goddard School" in Towaco. She absolutely loved your classes and looked forward to them every week. She can't wait for the next session to begin again so she can learn more. She talks about you all the time and regularly gives us gardening information when we are working in our garden. Because of you she has a greater appreciation for gardening and keeping the environment green. She loves to put things in our composter because she has learned from you how great compost is for our plants.
Thank you so much Mike. You are doing a great job and look forward to seeing you again for the next session at the school. Enjoy your summer.
